Infor­ma­tion on the coro­n­avirus sit­u­a­tion on 19th of March 2020

Soite's coronavirus task group has a daily meeting at 12 o'clock and it updates the situation picture. The preparations have proceeded as planned.

At the moment, the situation is still calm and there have been no new positive test results in Soite's area after the two positive test results last weekend. Testing has been done. The coronavirus clinic and the coronavirus helpline have not been congested.

Soite is going to get its own testing device, but the schedule is still unclear.

The situation is calm in Soite’s units, and the personnel has a good attitude. Personnel has been surveyed and placed where personnel will be needed most. This work continues. Schooling has been increased for the personnel in order to prepare for an epidemic.

There is a message on the web giving retired and other available professionals in health care a chance to register for work in Soite.

Remote work can be done according to instructions and under the supervision of one’s boss. Those who cannot do remote work get a packet of study materials that they can start going through.

Units in Nursing and care have been surveyed in order to see what units can, if needed, be converted for the use of coronavirus patients. This work continues and more information is given later.

Soite is also starting a home corona team that concentrates on home care of patients with an infectious disease. This team is prepared in Nursing and care.
