Information on the coronavirus situation on the 12th of June 2020

Soite’s coronavirus task group has a daily meeting and updates the situational picture. The situation is still calm in Soite’s area and the preparations proceed according to plan.

No new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Central Ostrobothnia’s hospital district today. No coronavirus patients are cared for on wards. Overall, 31 coronavirus infections have now been confirmed in Soite’s area.

The situation is calm at the infection receptions and on the coronavirus helpline. Coronavirus tests are done with a low threshold on Soite’s coronavirus receptions when a person has symptoms of the coronavirus.

The task group decided that as of June 15th 2020, Soite will lift all restrictions concerning the presence of support persons during childbirths. The support person may be present during vaginal births and C‑sections, inducing of labor and postnatal care, so long as the support person does not have symptoms of an infectious disease. The support person may also participate during ultrasound screenings and visits to the maternity clinic. One support person at a time may accompany the mother. The support person has to follow the instructions for hygiene required during the corona situation.

No other changes were made in the list of changes in the opening hours and other changes in Soite.
