Information on the coronavirus situation on the 20th of March 2020

Soite’s coronavirus task group has a daily meeting at 12 o’clock and it updates the situation picture. The preparations have proceeded as planned.

At the moment, the situation is still calm and there have been no new positive test results in Soite’s area after the two positive test results last weekend. Fewer testing has been done towards the end of the week than at the beginning of it. The coronavirus clinic and the coronavirus helpline have not been congested.

The coronavirus task group decided that no new helpline is opened for advice for over 70-year-olds at this point. Instead, the helpline for psychological first aid is expanded, so that this number 06 828 7288 also gives answers to the questions the elderly have about the coronavirus situation from Monday 23rd of March.

The main entrance to the central hospital is closed for the weekend. The clients of the emergency toothache care, the paediatric emergency clinic and the labour ward come to the units based on a phone call, and they are given advice on this by phone.
