Information on the coronavirus situation on the 25th of March 2020

The situation is still fairly calm in Soite’s area and the preparations proceed according to plan.

No new coronavirus cases have been found today. We are still waiting for the results from some of the testing that was done last week. The delay is due to congestion at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare Thl. The coronavirus clinic and the coronavirus helpline are not congested.

Soite has formulated concise advice for the elderly about how to act in the coronavirus situation. The advice is distributed widely through different channels.

The list on changes in the opening hours and other changes in Soite was changed when it comes to neurology and rehabilitation. The list on changes in Soite is updated in the article on opening hours.

Informing about the coronavirus situation

When it comes to giving out information, we follow the guidelines from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and Thl. We confirm the number of coronavirus cases as reported by the Thl, but because of safety of privacy and national guidelines, we cannot give out specific information about the care of patients in Soite.
