Infor­ma­tion on the coro­n­avirus sit­u­a­tion on the 6th of April 2020

Soite’s coro­n­avirus task group has a dai­ly meet­ing at 12 o’clock and updates the sit­u­a­tion pic­ture. The sit­u­a­tion con­tin­ues to be calm in Soite’s area and the prepa­ra­tions pro­ceed accord­ing to plan.

One new coro­n­avirus case has been con­firmed in Soite’s area. Over­all, eight coro­n­avirus infec­tions have now been con­firmed in Soite’s area. The sit­u­a­tion is calm on the coro­n­avirus helpline and on the coro­n­avirus clin­ic when it comes to testing.

Soite has today informed that a sup­port person’s right to be present at child­birth is restrict­ed at Cen­tral Ostro­both­nia Cen­tral Hos­pi­tal from the 6th of April 2020. Read the whole announcement:

With East­er approach­ing, we want to strong­ly empha­size that the cur­rent guide­lines must be fol­lowed. When it comes to East­er, this means that:

  • Visits must be avoided and safe distances must be kept.
  • Organizing gatherings of over 10 people is not allowed even outside, i.e. gathering around Easter bonfires is not allowed. You can e.g. sit in your car and enjoy the bonfire.
  • Children cannot go from house to house.
