Information on the coronavirus situation on the 6th of April 2020
Soite’s coronavirus task group has a daily meeting at 12 o’clock and updates the situation picture. The situation continues to be calm in Soite’s area and the preparations proceed according to plan.
One new coronavirus case has been confirmed in Soite’s area. Overall, eight coronavirus infections have now been confirmed in Soite’s area. The situation is calm on the coronavirus helpline and on the coronavirus clinic when it comes to testing.
Soite has today informed that a support person’s right to be present at childbirth is restricted at Central Ostrobothnia Central Hospital from the 6th of April 2020. Read the whole announcement:
With Easter approaching, we want to strongly emphasize that the current guidelines must be followed. When it comes to Easter, this means that:
- Visits must be avoided and safe distances must be kept.
- Organizing gatherings of over 10 people is not allowed even outside, i.e. gathering around Easter bonfires is not allowed. You can e.g. sit in your car and enjoy the bonfire.
- Children cannot go from house to house.
