Infor­ma­tion on the coro­n­avirus sit­u­a­tion on the 9th of April 2020

Soite’s coro­n­avirus task group has a dai­ly meet­ing at 12 o’clock and updates the sit­u­a­tion pic­ture. The sit­u­a­tion con­tin­ues to be calm in Soite’s area and the prepa­ra­tions pro­ceed accord­ing to plan.

Three new coro­n­avirus cas­es have been con­firmed in Soite’s area. The chains of infec­tion have been traced. One coro­n­avirus patient is cared for on a ward. Over­all, 12 coro­n­avirus infec­tions have now been con­firmed in Soite’s area.

The sit­u­a­tion con­tin­ues to be fair­ly calm on the coro­n­avirus clin­ic and on the coro­n­avirus helpline.

Soite starts to grad­u­al­ly use wash­able fab­ric face masks in home care, in ser­vice hous­ing with 24-hour assis­tance and on all home vis­its. The wash­able masks have been bought from local com­pa­nies. Soite has also received a batch of pro­tec­tive gear from the Finnish Nat­ur­al Emer­gency Sup­ply Agency.

The list on changes in the open­ing hours and oth­er changes in Soite was not changed.
