No new coro­n­avirus cas­es have been con­firmed in Soite’s area. The lat­est pos­i­tive coro­n­avirus infec­tion was con­firmed on the 30th of May 2021. The inci­dence of coro­n­avirus infec­tions in the Soite area dur­ing 14 days is cur­rent­ly 99.8/100.000 citizens.

Three COVID-19 patients are cur­rent­ly being treat­ed at Cen­tral Ostro­both­n­ian Cen­tral Hospital.

We urge every­one who has even mild symp­toms indica­tive of coro­n­avirus to quick­ly seek out coro­n­avirus test­ing. You should not go out­side your home even if you have only mild symptoms!

The Cen­tral Ostro­both­nia region­al COVID-19 author­i­ty task group has a meet­ing on Wednes­day 2nd of June 2021 to assess the region­al coro­n­avirus sit­u­a­tion­al pic­ture and recommendations.

Vac­ci­na­tions per­formed with­in the occu­pa­tion­al health care have been added to the coro­na vac­ci­na­tion indi­ca­tor — vac­ci­na­tion cov­er­age in the area is already almost 60%

Soite’s coro­n­avirus vac­ci­na­tion indi­ca­tor has now been updat­ed to include the vac­ci­na­tions per­formed with­in the region­al occu­pa­tion­al health care, which increas­es the vac­ci­na­tion cov­er­age for espe­cial­ly the work­ing age pop­u­la­tion. For exam­ple among peo­ple aged 50 to 54, the vac­ci­na­tion per­cent­age rose from 53 per­cent to 79 per­cent, among peo­ple aged 55 to 59 from 59 to 87 per­cent, and for ages 60 to 64 from 71 per­cent to 89 percent.

In total, 59.2% of the region’s pop­u­la­tion has now received the first vac­cine dose and 15% the sec­ond vac­cine dose.
