One new coronavirus case has been confirmed in Soite’s area
One new coronavirus case has been confirmed in Soite’s area. The infection is related to the chain of infection in Skellefteå, which we informed about this weekend. In relation to the chain of infection in Skellefteå, dozens of people have been placed in quarantine in Soite’s area in order to prevent further infections.
Employees at Northvolt who have returned to Finland from Skellefteå after Saturday the 23rd of January 2021 are still urged to seek out coronavirus testing. In this exceptional case, coronavirus testing should be sought out even if one has no symptoms. Going to a test is necessary even if a negative coronavirus test has been taken at the factory or at the western border. In these cases, the interval between the tests must be at least 72 h. The coronavirus epidemic is worsening in Skellefteå and cases of the mutated virus which originates from Britain have been confirmed at Northvolt’s factory.
