Soite’s coro­n­avirus task group informs on the 29th of Octo­ber 2020

Soite’s coro­n­avirus task group has a meet­ing on Mon­days, Thurs­days and when need­ed and it updates the sit­u­a­tion­al pic­ture. The pre­pared­ness is in accor­dance with plan.

Three new coro­n­avirus cas­es have been con­firmed in Soite’s area. One of the cas­es is con­nect­ed to an ear­li­er chain of infec­tions and two are from new chains of infec­tion. One of the new chains is still under inves­ti­ga­tion and the con­tact trac­ing is underway. 

Over­all, 89 coro­n­avirus infec­tions have been con­firmed in Cen­tral Ostro­both­nia hos­pi­tal dis­trict dur­ing the whole pan­dem­ic. Link: updat­ed sit­u­a­tion­al pic­ture  

The doc­tors’ and nurse’s recep­tion in Koivuha­ka con­tin­ues to be closed week 45. After that, the recep­tion func­tions on a small­er scale: From the 9th of Novem­ber 2020, the recep­tion in Koivuha­ka is open only for those who have booked an appointment.

Thanks to pos­i­tive expe­ri­ences from the pilot project in Kokko­la, the pos­si­bil­i­ty to book an appoint­ment to coro­n­avirus test­ing online is expand­ed to the entire Soite area on Mon­day 2nd of Novem­ber 2020. From then on, it is also pos­si­ble to book an appoint­ment online to the dri­ve-in test­ing sites in Kan­nus and Veteli if the coro­n­avirus symp­tom check­er in the Omaolo ser­vice rec­om­mends a test.
