Soite’s coronavirus task group has a meeting on Mondays, Thursdays and when needed and it updates the situational picture. The preparedness is in accordance with plan.
Three new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Soite’s area. One of the cases is connected to an earlier chain of infections and two are from new chains of infection. One of the new chains is still under investigation and the contact tracing is underway.

The doctors’ and nurse’s reception in Koivuhaka continues to be closed week 45. After that, the reception functions on a smaller scale: From the 9th of November 2020, the reception in Koivuhaka is open only for those who have booked an appointment.
Thanks to positive experiences from the pilot project in Kokkola, the possibility to book an appointment to coronavirus testing online is expanded to the entire Soite area on Monday 2nd of November 2020. From then on, it is also possible to book an appointment online to the drive-in testing sites in Kannus and Veteli if the coronavirus symptom checker in the Omaolo service recommends a test.
