Soite’s coronavirus task group informs on the 31st of August 2020
Soite’s coronavirus task group has a meeting on Mondays and Thursdays and updates the situational picture. The situation is still fairly calm in Soite’s area and the preparations are proceeding according to plan.
No new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the recent days in Soite’s area. The latest case was confirmed on the 24th of August 2020. Overall, 33 coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Soite’s area.
Soite’s coronavirus task group wishes to remind of THL’s instructions concerning children with symptoms of the cold:
“Once symptoms are clearly subsiding, the child can go back to day-care or school even if the symptoms have not completely disappeared.
According to current data, small children have milder coronavirus symptoms than adults and they are less likely to pass the virus on than others. Fewer children than adults of working age have been diagnosed with coronavirus infections.” More information in THL’s article.
The Koronavilkku application has been launched today in the whole of Finland The application makes tracing those who have been exposed to the virus and breaking the chains of infection quicker.
