Pur­suant to sec­tion 58 (1) of the Com­mu­ni­ca­ble Dis­eases Act, the Region­al State Admin­is­tra­tive Agency of West­ern and Inland Fin­land pro­hibits pub­lic events and gen­er­al meet­ings that are arranged indoors and are attend­ed by more than 10 peo­ple in the munic­i­pal­i­ties of the Cen­tral Ostro­both­nia Hos­pi­tal Dis­trict (exclud­ing Reisjärvi).

The Region­al State Admin­is­tra­tive Agency orders those who are respon­si­ble for cus­tomer and pub­lic spaces to arrange the use of the spaces in such a way that the risk for coro­n­avirus infec­tions due to close con­tact between cus­tomers, groups and per­sons who take part in activ­i­ties may be prevented.
