The interval between coronavirus vaccinations will be shortened in the Soite area from 12 weeks to 8 weeks — special walk-in days will be arranged for the second dose
The interval between coronavirus vaccinations will be shortened in the Soite area from 12 weeks to 8 weeks. Soite is preparing special walk-in days for the second dose. Currently, walk-in vaccinations are primarily targeted at recipients of the first dose of vaccine.
As of Saturday, August 14, 2021, those who received their first coronavirus vaccination have been given their next vaccination appointement 8 weeks later. The booster vaccine can be given 8 to 12 weeks after the first vaccine.
As a general rule, appoinments that have already been reserved will not be changed, but if you want to receive the booster vaccine at an earlier time, it is currently possible if you have a well-founded reason for this. To change an appointment, please contact the secretary at Soite’s vaccination center, phone 040 804 2821 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday klo 8–15 sekä ti klo 8–12.
The ongoing appointment-free walk-in vaccination days are primarily intended for recipients of the first dose of vaccine. Appointment-free walk-in vaccination days will soon be organized for recipients of the 2nd vaccine dose, in which case their own vaccination interval can be shortened to 8 weeks if they wish. To avoid vaccine losses, separate walk-in days will be arranged for earlier administration of the 2nd vaccine. It is recommended that the second dose of vaccine be given primarily with the same vaccine as the first dose. The aim is to offer both available mrna vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) on appointment-free walk-in-days for the 2nd dose.
We will provide more detailed information at a later time on appointment free walk-in-days for the 2nd vaccine and booster vaccines that will be available during the day.
