Three new cases of coronavirus infection confirmed in Soite’s area — Soite remains at base level
Central Ostrobothnia’s regional COVID-19 authority task group gathered on Wednesday 27th of January 2021 to evaluate the regional situational picture as well as the regional recommendations. Soite remains at the coronavirus base level and current recommendations remain in effect until 14.2.2021. Three new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Soite’s area.
The incidence of coronavirus has increased over the past few days in Soite’s area Over the past 14 days, a total of 14 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Soite and the incidence of infections during the last 14 days is currently 18 /100 000 citizens
Central Ostrobothnia’s COVID-19 authority task group decided that Central Ostrobothnia remains on the base level of the coronavirus pandemic. The regional coronavirus recommendations remain unchanged and in effect until 14th of February 2021. Link: Regulations and recommendations.
Today’s situation
Three new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Soite’s area. Two of these cases are related to an earlier chain of infection and those infected were already in quarantine. The contact tracing of the third infection is still in progress. Those close to the infected persons who have been exposed have been contact traced and placed in quarantine.
One COVID-19 patient is currently being treated at Central Ostrobothnia’s central hospital.

- Cough in your sleeve or in a tissue
- Keep a distance to other people
- Use a mask
- If you have symptoms, stay at home and seek out coronavirus testing early and even if you have only very mild symptoms

- When it’s your turn, take the coronavirus vaccine.
