Three new cas­es of coro­n­avirus infec­tion con­firmed in Soite’s area — Soite remains at base level

Cen­tral Ostrobothnia’s region­al COVID-19 author­i­ty task group gath­ered on Wednes­day 27th of Jan­u­ary 2021 to eval­u­ate the region­al sit­u­a­tion­al pic­ture as well as the region­al rec­om­men­da­tions. Soite remains at the coro­n­avirus base lev­el and cur­rent rec­om­men­da­tions remain in effect until 14.2.2021. Three new cas­es of coro­n­avirus infec­tion have been con­firmed in Soite’s area.

The inci­dence of coro­n­avirus has increased over the past few days in Soite’s area Over the past 14 days, a total of 14 coro­n­avirus cas­es have been con­firmed in Soite and the inci­dence of infec­tions dur­ing the last 14 days is cur­rent­ly 18 /100 000 citizens

Cen­tral Ostrobothnia’s COVID-19 author­i­ty task group decid­ed that Cen­tral Ostro­both­nia remains on the base lev­el of the coro­n­avirus pan­dem­ic. Today’s sit­u­a­tion

Three new cas­es of coro­n­avirus infec­tion have been con­firmed in Soite’s area. Two of these cas­es are relat­ed to an ear­li­er chain of infec­tion and those infect­ed were already in quar­an­tine. The con­tact trac­ing of the third infec­tion is still in progress. Those close to the infect­ed per­sons who have been exposed have been con­tact traced and placed in quarantine.

One COVID-19 patient is cur­rent­ly being treat­ed at Cen­tral Ostrobothnia’s cen­tral hospital.

Stop the spread of the coronavirus:

  • Cough in your sleeve or in a tissue
  • Keep a distance to other people
  • Use a mask

  • When it’s your turn, take the coronavirus vaccine.
