Three new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Soite’s area
Three new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Soite’s area. The chain of infection is known in two of the cases and the infected persons were already in quarantine. These two cases have thus not lead to any new exposures. The third case is connected to the extensive chain of infections in Jyväskylä.
No patients with COVID-19 are treated at the moment at the Central Ostrobothnia Central Hospital.
Stop the coronavirus from spreading:
- Wash your hands or use a hand sanitizer often
- Cough into your sleeve or into a handkerchief
- Keep a distance to other people
- Use a mask
- If you have symptoms, stay at home and seek out coronavirus testing at an early stage and even if you only have mild symptoms
- Install and use the Koronavilkku coronavirus app
- Get vaccinated when it’s your turn.
It is important to get tested even if one only has mild symptoms!
You can contact Soite’s infection reception by filling in the coronavirus symptom check-up in the Omaolo service at: https://www.omaolo.fi/?lang=en. If your symptoms require it, your contact information can be conveyed to Soite. Alternatively, you can book a time yourself via Omaolo to a drive-in testing site. The link for making a booking is offered after the symptom check-up has been filled in, if your symptoms require a coronavirus test.
