Two new coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Soite’s area. Those that have been exposed to the virus have been contact traced and put into quarantine. No patients with COVID-19 are treated at the Central Ostrobothnia Central Hospital.
Overall, 77 coronavirus infections have now been confirmed in Central Ostrobothnia hospital district during the whole pandemic.
The reception in Koivuhaka is closed until the 23rd of October
Soite strengthens the infection receptions by flexibly moving personnel resources. The reception in Koivuhaka is closed during week 43 (19 — 23.10). In this way, health care personnel is moved to coronavirus-related work.
Appointments that have already been given will be transferred to the main health care station in Kokkola. Clients will be informed of the changes personally. Telephone calls to the health care station in Koivuhaka will also be transferred to the main health care station in Kokkola during the closure.
Decisions on possibly continuing the closure are made later.
