Two new coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Soite’s area. The chain of infection is known in one of the cases and the infected person was already in quarantine. The case has thus not lead to any new exposures.
The chain of infection is also known in the second case. Those that are close to the infected person and have been exposed to the virus have been contact traced and put into quarantine.
No patients with COVID-19 are treated at the moment at the Central Ostrobothnia Central Hospital.
Stop the coronavirus from spreading:
- Wash your hands or use a hand sanitizer often
- Cough into your sleeve or into a handkerchief
- Keep a distance to other people
- Use a mask
- If you have symptoms, stay at home and seek out coronavirus testing at an early stage and even if you only have mild symptoms
- Install and use the Koronavilkku coronavirus app
- Get vaccinated when it’s your turn.
It is important to get tested even if one only has mild symptoms!
